Saliva Chicken

Language, language language!! I love language and languages and especially TRANSLATION! Here's a quick photo from Hong Kong that, when I first saw the menu item, I laughed at.Eventually I used my language experience and figured out that the chicken was not actually marinated in saliva or boiled in spit. The dish "Saliva Chicken" actually comes from a direct translation of the Chinese...(mouth 口 water 水 and chicken 雞) meaning that the chicken is so yummy that it makes your mouth water! Hahaha, again, I love language!
