Friday Foto - August 20, 2010

I gave this picture a test drive on Facebook, but thought it needed to be memorialized here as well, a memory (evidence) haha.

To add to the story:

The kids had a test and when they were finished they were supposed to sit quietly and read or whatever. Snooker, fifth grader, decided to use her time to draw this work of art.

The next day I came to class and they kids were laughing and drawing pictures on the whiteboard. Snooker had reproduced her drawing of the "Very not handsome" Teacher Guy, only larger. There were other versions by other students as well. GM drew a giant happy lion...when the kids asked him why he drew a lion he said because if Teacher Guy was a lion he could eat a lot of food! Great from little chubby GM!

Then GM calls across the room to Snooker and asks permission to erase "not handsome" from the board...I looked up from my work and saw him with the whiteboard eraser, patiently awaiting her response. She yelled across the room, "Why?" to which he replied..."Change not handsome to UGLY is better!" WHAAAAAAAATTTTTT!!!!!! Haha...So now the board has a giant red lettering "T.Guy is very UGLY". Perhaps they were doing synonym drills at my expense! Wait until the next quiz!!! Little punks!

To draw that picture and sign her name to it!!!!WOW!!! brave girl. The boy is just as brave. These kids must consider you a good guy to dare to openly make a little fun with you. You gotta love your job. Kids are so precious and your kids are the funniest ever.
Enjoy. Love always, Auntie

Auntie, I have a good time...sometimes the politics and business aspect of running a private school bugs know, when the bottom dollar rules over what is best for the kids...

But yeah, the kids and I have a certain relationship where we can joke about things like they are just brutally honest I'm not disputing my level of good-lookingness! hahahaha, They pretty much hit the nail on the head with that one! hahaha. They're good kids!
