Censored

This is new to me...followed several Twitter feeds and have been posting updates on the BKK situation all day. Now the curfew comes and the government forces the tv stations to play mandated government programs (controlling information flow out of the country and to the people) presumably...

No big deal, I can watch sports...but now they have shut down Twitter and I can no longer use Facebook too! Aaaaaargh! When I try to access the sites this message pops up...

การเข้าถึงข้อมูลดังกล่าวนี้ ถูกระงับเป็นการชั่วคราว

พระราชกำหนดการบริหารราชการ

So yeah, most probably have no idea what this says, but it's basically saying that you can't access these sites during this time, censored under authority of the government in order to help bring emergency situation to an end, blah blah...

I guess there's to much information being propagated to the rest of the world. This seems more like the M.O. of Iran or China...not the "Land of Smiles" dangit! Facebook and Twitter so far...knock on wood.

It's a very frightening situation you are living in. I have been following the story on CBS news and it really saddens my heart to see so much violence. Let's hope for a peaceful future for Thailand. You stay safe my friend.
Love always, Auntie
