I still don't know the name of this temple

This is a temple that Pae's parents took us to visit in Ubon Ratchathani, Pae's home town in the east of Thailand.

The temple is built in the middle of a man-made lake and is shaped like a ginormous dragon boat. During our visit we took lots of pictures and payed respect to the Buddha inside the temple itself. We fed the fish that made the lake home, played with the street dogs, and watched the turtles cruise for food too.

We just drove a different route to our favorite Korean restaurant today, through a wooded area, past the slums, and back into the "city" and passed a super tall temple that I want to go take pictures of in the near future, now if I can only remember the name of the road it was on!

I'll share as many of the cool Buddhist temples we happen upon. I never cease to be amazed by the temples here.

Guy,
This would be Wat SaPraSaenSuk here in Ubon. A very tranquil and peaceful experience.
